COMMON QUESTIONS
Useful context, not filler.
What is an aspect ratio?+
It is the proportional relationship between an image's width and height, expressed as numbers such as 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9.
Does resizing change the aspect ratio?+
Not when width and height are scaled proportionally. Changing only one dimension stretches or compresses the image.
Why do some print sizes crop my photo?+
The paper and image may have different aspect ratios. Filling the entire print requires cropping part of the image.
